BALLARAT: Race 2 (1:30pm AEST)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 11 Mercurial Lady
Mercurial Lady returns to the races and is ready to go off two solid trial wins.
Prepared by the Moody / Coleman team, the So You Think filly has just had the two race starts and placed on both occasions, she looks to have plenty of upside.
She was just caught late after leading on debut and it was a gallant effort hold third after working hard early to cross.
Settling in behind the speed at her second outing, she finished off strongly into second.
She looks nicely placed here kicking off over 1200m and can make her own luck off the inside draw.
BALLARAT: Race 4 (2:30pm AEST)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 7 Draw Attention
Draw Attention has been the runner up in both of her runs this campaign and looks nicely suited stepping out to this trip.
The daughter of The Autumn Sun had no luck in her first preparation but has returned in top order and looks very progressive.
She finished off strongly when resuming over the mile and she was even better last time as she charged home to get within .7 of a length on the line.
She’s presents at peak fitness and if she can slot in and find cover early off the wide draw, I think she’ll prove too strong for them late.
BALLARAT: Race 7 (4:00pm AEST)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Strike Gold
Strike Gold got the bob in on the line last start over this course and distance and with the added fitness, he looks hard to beat again.
The former galloper was solid to the line off a wide run when resuming over the 1000m and up to 1200m last time, he found the front 200m from home and fought gamely to hold off the challengers.
A very capable galloper on his day, he looks nicely placed here and Harry Coffey stays aboard.
BALLARAT: Race 8 (4:30pm AEST)
No. 1 Tochka
Tochka bounced back to her best last start to score a strong win over this track and trip.
The Russian Revolution filly failed to finish off on a very firm track at her prior start but relished the synthetic surface last time as she fought gamely to hold on, after working hard in the early part to cross.
A winner of three from seven, she’s not short of talent and she looks well placed to add another win to her tally.
She drops back in grade and gets in nicely with Nadia Daniels’ 3kg claim.
