No. 11 Zoutaium

J: Daniel Moor (57kg) T: Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young

Zoutanium kicked off his career with a solid effort over 1200m during the Warrnambool Carnival and he’ll be better for the experience.

The flashy grey colt travelled nicely just behind the leaders and despite being a bit raw in the straight, he stuck of gamely to hold fourth, only .4 of a length off the runner up.

The form from that race has been franked with that runner up since going on to win.

The blinkers go on here, as does the tongue tie and with the rise in trip, I think he’s the one to beat.

No. 2 Tishman

J: Luke Cartwright (62kg) T: Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr

Tishman resumed with a very pleasing effort over the mile at Pakenham and he strips fitter for the outing.

Settling well back in the field, he came the widest in the straight and finished off strongly into third.

Only lightly raced having the six starts, the son of Dundeel looks progressive and will certainly appreciate the slight rise in trip.

He drops back in grade and gets in nicely with the 2kg claim.

No. 5 Waxing Gibbous

J: Ben Allen (60kg) T: Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young

Waxing Gibbous makes his Australian debut and he looks ready to go off two recent jump outs.

The European import is yet to step out in anything less than 2000m on raceday but the way he quickened through the line to win a 1200m jump out, suggests the mile kick off will be ideal.

He brings consistent form, he’s been placed in all three of his first up appearances and will afforded every chance off the inside draw under Ben Allen.

SALE: Race 8 (4:38pm AEST)

No. 3 Scream

Scream just her held ground to the line when resuming at Cranbourne but she’s sure to improve with that run under her belt.

She’s yet to figure when fresh but is unbeaten in three second up appearances.

The 1000m trip is her pet distance and she looks beautifully placed with the slight drop back in grade.

She does have the wide draw to overcome but with a touch of luck, I think she’ll be right there at the finish.
