GOSFORD: Race 2: (11:50am AEST)

No. 1 Sequista
Sequista has been solid in both runs to date and she brings the strongest formlines into this race.
Prepared by the Ryan / Alexiou team, the D’argento filly made her debut back in December, where she hit the line strongly to finish third in the Inglis Nursery.
Given a break, she returned in the Percy Sykes, where she didn’t have the easiest of runs but it was a very encouraging effort to finish fourth behind Golden Slipper placegetter, Tempted.
She strips fitter and should find this easier.
MORPHETTVILLE: Race 1 - (12:17pm AEST)

No. 5 Under The Cone
Under The Cone is on the quick back up after an eye-catching effort over the mile here on Saturday.
Slowly away he settled back at the tail and didn’t find clear running until 200m out, where he charged home into second.
Prior to that the Starcraft gelding was victorious over 1400m at Balaklava as he powered to the line, showing plenty of determination to get his head down where it counted.
Due to his racing pattern, he hasn’t always had the best of luck but he’s an improving type and will relish the rise to 1800m.
MORPHETTVILLE: Race 4 (2:02pm AEST)

No. 5 She's A Hustler
She’s A Hustler is quickly building an enviable record and she looks well placed to continue on her winning way.
The daughter of Ace High made it three straight wins when saluting over the 2100m on the Lakeside last start, beating home subsequent South Australian Derby placegetter Lavalier.
Stepping out to that journey for the first time, the mare travelled well throughout and after sweeping around them into the turn, she extended strongly over the final part to score comfortably.
This is tougher but she’s continued to step up each time the bar has been raised and I think she’ll prove too good for them again.
GOSFORD: Race 7 (2:45pm AEST)

No. 2 New Endeavour
New Endeavour has been racing well and looks primed for this assignment.
The Waterhouse / Bott trained gelding was doing his best work late when resuming over 1500m in the Ajax Stakes and over that same trip in the Doncaster Prelude at his following start, he settled closer in the run and tried hard but just couldn’t reel in the all-the-way winner.
It was a similar story last time as he stepped out to 2000m in the JRA Plate, but with the added fitness he looks ideally placed at 2100m.
He’s been placed in seven of his eight starts on soft tracks and is set to receive all the favours under Regan Bayliss.
