Just the one game happening on the ice on Wednesday with the Jets in Dallas for a monster Game 4 against the Stars. Ryan Cook shares his best plays in our Wednesday NHL Tips!
Game 4 – DAL Leads 2-1
Do the Jets have the goaltending and the offence to keep up with the Stars as this series progresses?
After a dazzling season that should see him win the Vezina, Connor Hellebuyck has regressed immensely since the playoff began, allowing five goals in Game 3 on Monday to take his goal against average to 3.50.
On the flip side, Jake Oettinger has been huge between the pipes for Dallas, although his life is made much easier with Mikko Rantanen (nine postseason goals) playing out of his skin.
The Stars have been the better team on the penalty kill so far and are also converting around 30% of their power play chances, good for the third-highest rate in the league.
This would be a weak way for the Jets to go out, but it’s starting to feel like they don’t have what it takes on either side of the puck to keep up.
