Bendigo: Race 5 8:30pm AEST
No. 4 Neo Devere

Neo Devere was electric when qualifying fastest for this final last week.

The son of Fernando Bale flew out of the boxes to lead all the way for a 5.5 length victory in 28.07 seconds.

He worked to the first marker in 6.57 seconds, so he should be able to cross the three dogs to his inside and get on the arm.

Bendigo: Race 6 8:53pm AEST
No. 8 Matt Loch

Matt Loch has been racing in blistering form with six wins in a row and I doubt he’s losing this.

The son of Aussie Infrared was brilliant last start when he broke the Warrnambool 450m track record on his way to the Cup win.

Prior to that, he was sensational when winning his heat of the Geelong Cup in the quickest time of 29.59 seconds before claiming the final.

Pure and simple, he’s a superstar and I expect him to cross from box 8 before breaking the hands of the clock.

Bendigo: Race 8 9:35pm AEST
No. 8 Talcott Bale

Talcott Bale faces the 500m at Bendigo for the first time but arrives here in great form.

The son of Allen Deed was very good last start over 450m at Warrnambool where he flew out of the lids to lead all the way in 24.95 seconds.

Three and four starts back he won in near best of the night times at Sale and Horsham.

He won his only previous race from box 8 and he should be able to cross and get on the arm.

Bendigo: Race 9 9:55pm AEST
No. 7 Paw Whistler

Paw Whistler is running red hot with eight wins from his past 10 starts including his past five in a row.

The Mark Delbridge-trained dog was excellent last start when leading all the way over 410m at Horsham in a best of the night 23.11 seconds.

Box 7 won’t faze him given two of his past five wins came when jumping from box 8 at Shepparton and Geelong.
