Daily Greyhound Tips – Friday May 16

Ballarat: Race 7 9:02pm AEST
No. 2 Black Xena

Black Xena returned to the winner’s kennel last start over 435m at Sale with an emphatic six-length victory in quick time.

The Plaintiff bitch was a dominant winner in her first two starts where she claimed her maiden win on debut at Sale by 5.5 lengths and backed it up with a seven-length romp at Warragul.

Her only loss in four starts was a half-length second two starts back over 400m at Warragul.

She should jump straight on the arm and prove hard to catch.

Ballarat: Race 8 9:27pm AEST
No. 2 Beach Bourbski

Beach Bourbski is well placed here dropping back in grade.

The son of Barcia Bale led all the way last start to win over 525m at The Meadows.

He’s a versatile chaser who won’t mind racing over this distance given he finished fourth in the G2 Warrnambool Cup just two starts ago and boasts a slick 25.18 seconds over this course and distance.

His blistering early speed should see him jump straight to the front and go all the way.

Ballarat: Race 10 10:12pm AEST
No. 8 Serial Sticker

Serial Sticker should be back to peak fitness following a short break.

Two starts ago the son of Mepunga Blazer won over 400m at Geelong in a best of the night 22.27 seconds before not having any luck in a heat of the Warrnambool Cup.

The G1 placegetter is undefeated in two starts over this course and distance with a best of 21.71 seconds.

There looks to be good speed in the race which could see trouble early so the outside box may work to his advantage.

Ballarat: Race 12 10:50pm AEST
No. 2 Paw Usami

Paw Usami has been racing in good form with two wins and a second from her past three starts.

The Dyna Tron bitch has won two from five races over this course and distance including three starts ago when proving too strong in 22.36 seconds.

She’s a quick beginner so should be able to hold her position from box 2.
