It’s the final weekend of the A-League regular season.
Auckland are premiers in their foundation year, Brisbane are terrible but there’s still a bit to play for.

Just to rub salt in the wounds. Perth have to cop a distance derby for their final game of the year.
The spoon is wrapped up for Perth and they are underdogs in this one even though the ‘Nix haven’t been much better this season.
Home ground advantage plays into this one a fair bit for me.

It’s very considerate of the A-League to wrap up the bottom for clubs by Friday this weekend.
CCM will host the Roar for one last hit out before both clubs do some serious soul searching in the off season.
Brisbane have finally hit some form that they probably needed several months ago.
They are undefeated with two wins in their last three and favourites here but I’m sticking with the Mariners at home.
Central Coast has won each of its last six night games against Brisbane.

Sydney need a win here and a few results to go their way for a top six spot and a hope for finals but that all falls over if they cannot salute at $3.60 here.
It seems like a tall order against a Melbourne outfit who are undefeated in their last five and $1.90 favourites.
Melbourne City has won each of its last seven home games against Sydney FC, I believe this might be the last we see of the Sky Blues for the 2024/25 season.
Auckland are heavy underdogs in their last fixture of the regular season which leads me to believe the squad is most likely to be rotated before their first finals series.
They’ve earnt a little rest if you ask me and I wouldn’t be upset if United lock in that third spot and keep football out of Sydney in this first round of finals.
The bookies have talked me into Western United in this one, we could see Auckland lose their third game in club history on Saturday.
Macarthur’s season wraps up this weekend but the Wanderers are in the hunt for a home final if things go their way in the Saturday arvo fixture.
Macarthur have their cue in the rack here surely? I don’t have a lot of faith in them in this one.
With one eye already on Mad Monday, I don’t think the Bulls show up here, give me the Wanderers.
Regular season gets wrapped up on Sunday with a dead rubber.
The Jets have nothing but pride to play for, the Vics could jump up a few spots depending on other fixtures but I’m struggling to hype myself up for this one especially with Melbourne at $1.44.
Melbourne -1 looks the value to me here, I just don’t see the Jets showing any interest in really pushing the Vics here.
