No. 5 Night Sky

J: Rachel King (58.5kg) T: James Cummings

Night Sky makes her debut and the Exosphere filly has impressed in a number of trials.

Her latest heat over 900m at Rosehill saw her work strongly through the line under very little pressure.

She looks ready to go and I think she’s the one to beat.

WYONG: Race 6 (3:45pm AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 10 Reducio

J: Kerrin McEvoy (58.5kg) T: James Cummings

Reducio proved too good when resuming over this trip and track and she looks very progressive.

A daughter of Harry Angel, the Godolphin filly showed natural talent at her first two starts and given time, she’s returned in fine order.

Caught wide in the early part, she was pressed forward to take up the lead and stuck on gamely to hold a half a length margin on the line.

She strips fitter and draws to get all the favours under Kerrin McEvoy.

PAKENHAM: Race 5 (7:15pm AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 9 Puglia

J: Craig Williams (57.5kg) T: Archie Alexander

Puglia has been placed in four starts and the form around her in solid.

The runner up in three runs last campaign, she resumed over 1400m on the Hillside where she travelled just behind the leader in the small field and finished off strongly to claim third.

Fitter the that run, the rise to the mile will suit and she should find this a touch easier.

PAKENHAM: Race 6 (7:45pm AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win Market Mover

No. 3 Rose De Vellor

J: Logan Bates (62kg) T: Charlotte Littlefield

Rose De Vellor has just the three race starts and looks to have a bright future.

The three year old daughter of Cable Bay won well on debut here on the synthetic before a solid effort to finish second over the 1000m at Mornington.

Sent to the paddock, she was very good when making her return over 1100m here, chasing hard into second and posting a 2.5 length margin back to third.

She strips fitter, the rise to 1200m looks ideal and she get in nicely with Logan Bates’ 1.5kg claim.
