Signoretti has performed very well in both runs to date and looks ideally placed here out to 1400m.

The New Zealand bred gelding didn’t have the best of luck on debut. Held up in the early part of the straight over 1200m, he finished off strongly once clear.

Last start, at that same trip, he again finished off nicely to claim second.

At peak fitness, the rise in trip will suit and barrier two can see him afforded all the favours in the small field.

Cecchetti strips fitter for the two recent runs and with five weeks since that latest outing, the son of Fiorente has been gelded.

He just had the four runs in his first preparation and was unlucky not to have won at his second race start.

Contested the Listed Hill Smith Stakes at his following outing, he finished a very credible fourth and he was terrific when finishing a length away in third in the Listed Batman Stakes.

He was doing his best work late last start over 2000m and out to 2200m here, he looks the one to beat.

Half Yours kicked resumed with a very encouraging effort to finish second on the Hillside and I think he can go one better here.

A new addition the McEvoy stable, the gelding settled back off the wide gate and powered home down the outside to just miss.

That was over 1400m, so the rise to 1700m will certainly suit and he was a dominant winner second up last preparation.

McAdam broke through for a deserved maiden win two runs back and given a five week let up, he was only collared late last start when stepping out the mile.

Taking up the running, the son of Snitzel just wanted to race a keen and stuck but stuck on gamely for second.

With another five weeks in-between runs, he looks nicely placed with the slight drop back in trip and back to provincial level.
