Daily Greyhound Tips – Tuesday April 8

Q1 Lakeside: Race 2 (4:09pm)
No. 5 Sandy Bullet

Sandy Bullet has a ton of fitness on her side after racing over longer at Ipswich over the last month. She was runner-up from a similar middle box last week and has placed on three occasions over 352m. She looks like a good bet to get right back off the speed and put paid to a few of the key chances resuming.

Q1 Lakeside: Race 4 (4:57pm)
No. 7 Rattlesnake Lad

Rattlesnake Lad looks suited after drawing another wide box. He was strong all the way when winning on debut at Capalaba from a similar position last month, while his recent runner-up effort at Albion Park suggested there’s plenty left to come. He looks likely to roll forward early and land on the bunny, and on recent form, he’ll be very hard to catch.

Q1 Lakeside: Race 6 (5:40pm)
No. 4 Shadow Catcher

Good luck beating Shadow Catcher here. This daughter of Beast Unleashed was a whopping seven-length winner at Ipswich a couple of weeks ago where she burst onto the scene late to finish strongly through the line. She’s won and placed previously over this distance and a repeat dose appears to be very much on the cards.

Q1 Lakeside: Race 9 (6:33pm)
No. 5 Paul Of Tessa

Paul Of Tessa is a multiple winner over this distance who can really pile some pressure on mid-race. She made up some late ground last start to run fifth at Ipswich and is a likely improver back slightly in trip. Having won two back by close to a length from a similar alley, she looks a nice value play in an open race.
