Albion Park: Race 3 7:58pm AEDT
No. 2 Canya Cash In

Canya Cash In has adapted well since rising to this course and distance.

The Jemma Daley-trained dog showcased his brilliance three and four starts ago with consecutive wins, clocking the best-of-the-night times of 34.94 seconds and 35.05 seconds.

However, his last two outings have been hampered by slow starts and early trouble after leaving the boxes.

If he can nail his jump from box 2, he has the speed and talent to take the lead and become difficult for the field to chase down.

No. 8 Backcreek Benny

Backcreek Benny is in scintillating form with an impressive streak of six consecutive victories.

Six starts ago, the Selena Zammit-trained dog delivered a phenomenal performance over this track and distance, overcoming a slow start to surge past the field and claim victory in 29.75 seconds.

More recently, on a wet track, he replicated his thrilling come-from-behind style, rounding up the competition and winning in 30.16 seconds.

Between these 520m triumphs, he has also been excelling over 600m, showcasing his stamina and strength in the late stages.

Though not the fastest out of the gates, his placement in the outside box plays to his strengths, allowing him to build momentum before unleashing his powerful finish.

Albion Park: Race 5 8:40pm AEDT
No. 1 Ace’s Chance

Ace’s Chance is in sensational form, aiming to secure his fourth consecutive win.

Three starts ago, the Jeff Crawford-trained dog shared the victory with Garrison in a thrilling dead heat after taking the lead late but tiring in the closing stages.

He bounced back impressively two starts ago in a dominant 600m performance, where he set a personal best time of 34.75 seconds, finishing nine lengths ahead of the competition.

Last start, Ace’s Chance stepped up to this course and distance and effortlessly claimed victory in 42.11 seconds.

Notably, his personal best of 41.91 seconds came from this same box.

Albion Park: Race 6 8:59pm AEDT
No. 2 Grevillea

Grevillea, the talented young chaser, has already racked up an impressive record, winning four of his six career starts.

The son of Aston Rupee delivered a commanding performance last time out over 520m at Ipswich, leading from start to finish and clinching a dominant 16.5-length victory in 30.08 seconds.

Returning to Albion Park, where he claimed the QGold Rookies Final three starts back and set a personal best of 29.83 seconds four starts ago, should only boost his chances.

With the ability to perform strongly both early and late in a race, Grevillea looks set to be a major contender in the opening heat of the Easter Trophy.
