Round 6 of Super Rugby Pacific is upon us with an incredibly exciting slate of games with every fixture an even playing field.
Check out all the picks and preview as we look to continue our hot streak going at 70% on the predictions so far this season.
Moana Pasifika are aiming for back-to-back wins for the first time in Super Rugby history and will be eager to continue their fast starts having scored six tries in the opening 20 minutes so far this season.
On the other side, the top of the table Chiefs have won all five meetings against Moana, scoring at least 40 points in all five with the average margin of 43 points per game.
Lineup wise they have a new centre combination with Wrampling and Rona linking up in the midfield.
Expecting plenty of points but the Chiefs get this one done and I’ll take alternate line of -14.5 with the visitors and Leroy Carter to score a try.
In a three v six match up, the Reds travel to Dunedin full of confidence and finding some form winning the last five of seven Super Rugby Pacific matches.
But they will be without flanker Fraser McReight out with a shoulder injury along with captain Tate McDermott who is being rested.
The Highlanders have been battling incredibly close matches this season with last four decided by two points or less resulting in two wins and two losses in that stint.
Under the roof, the Highlanders have been strong winning the last four of five and not conceded over 30 points in any of those five.
They have pushed wrecking ball Tavatavanawai back to the wing with Thomas Umaga-Jenson in line for his debut.
I do think this is 1-12 either way but I will take the Reds +4.5
A New Zealand rivalry like no other this weekend as the revived Crusaders take on the premiership winning Blues.
The Crusaders have won five of their last six against the Blues with four of five been decided by 14 or less.
Livewire winger Sevu Reece has continued his fast start to 2025 having scored five tries in his last two games including 14 tries in his last 11 fixtures.
The Blues are trending in the right direction having fallen just short against the Chiefs last week but will welcome back Sotutu and Perofeta into the starting lineup.
The last time the Blues lost more than two games in a row at Eden Park was back in 2018.
This has all the ingredients to be an absolute thriller, but I’ll take the Blues 1-12.
The old grudge match between NSW and ACT is set to deliver in what is a match up between fourth and fifth on the table.
The Brumbies have won their last 13 vs the Waratahs with five of the last six decided by eight points of less.
After a slow start to the season, the Brumbies have won their last two with Lenny Ikitau and Andy Muirhead scoring a combined 7 tries in the last four matches.
They also welcome back man mountain Rob Valentini for the clash.
The Waratahs head home after a disappointing showing against the Reds but they are still struggling on the injury front still without Joseph Suaalii, Darby Lancaster and Captain Jake Gordon.
Langi Gleeson will get the start at number 8 and has been huge this year scoring three tries in his last three.
I think the Brumbies are hitting form at the right time, will take them -4.5.
Sunday afternoon rugby takes centre stage once again as the Force welcome the Drua out west.
The Force have recalled all of their Wallabies for the clash as they look to continue the strong record against the Drua winning the last three of four while conceding under 20 points in each of those wins.
However, at HBF Park, the last three fixtures have been decided by five points or less with the Force winning just the once.
The Drua continue to struggle to win on the road this season and have lost six of their last eight against Australian teams, but Caleb Muntz is back in the 10 jerseys aiming to turn the tide for the Drua.
I think the Force bounce back here and will take them to win 1-12 and I also like the total points over 61.5 in this clash.
