WYONG: Race 1(1:45pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 5 Congressman

J: James McDonald (56.5kg) T: Chris Waller

Congressman was solid on debut over 1100m at Warwick Farm and I think he’ll relish the rise to 1350m.

The Snitzel colt was slightly slow and away and never looked to be travelling that comfortably throughout but picked up nicely over the final part, taking good ground off them late.

He’ll be better for the experience and is sure to be afforded every chance under James McDonald.

WYONG: Race 5 (4:05pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 5 Seven's

J: James McDonald (55kg) T: Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald

Seven’s has been placed in both runs back this campaign and looks ready to peak.

When resuming, the European import settled at the tail and powered home late into third and last time, out to 2100m, he took up the running and was just run down late.

With the two wins from just two starts in France before making his way down under, he looks to have plenty of upside and with the added fitness here, he looks the one to beat.

WYONG; Race 7 (5:15pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 4 Sydney Bowler

J: Zac Lloyd (58kg) T: John O'Shea & Tom Charlton

SANDOWN: Race 5 (4:50pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win Market Mover

No. 5 Zloties

J: Jordan Childs (59.5kg) T: Grahame Begg

Zloties comes off a solid first up effort over 1200m on the Lakeside and she will have nice improvement from the outing.

Settling in the second half of the field, she travelled well and let down strongly in the straight to claim third.

Only lightly raced having had the six starts, the Snitzel mare is building a tidy record and she looks ideally placed here with the slight drop back in grade.
