No. 7 Yachiyo
YACHIYO (7) is fourth-up and ready to win again for Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr.
The Japanese import caught the eye with a sensational win of his maiden two back at Pakenham, finding the front approaching the 100m mark to punch clear and win by over two lengths.
His latest effort off a five-week break for second was just as impressive, a race he probably would have won if he wasn’t held up briefly.
Out to the mile now with natural improvement to come, he looks one of the best bets of the day.

No. 7 Ti Tree Lad
TI TREE LAD (7) is looking to break a run of placings that dates right back to mid-January.
The son Thronum has had his hoof on the till over his last three starts, overcoming a slow getaway to get up and finish second at Terang three weeks ago over shorter.
Getting back out to 1300m should aid his cause, and with the blinkers back on from the soft gate, a similar effort would see him hard to hold out.

Dan O’Sullivan’s mare disappointed for a run on her way to finishing second last, a far cry from her runner-up effort on the Lakeside track at Sandown first-up behind Written Bligh.
A few key gear changes have been made to get her right and with the claim also put to good use, a bounce back performance could be on the cards.

She was last seen finishing runner-up in a tougher race at The Valley last November and is a proven commodity over 1100m.
