Skelmorlie strips fitter for the two runs back and looks ready to peak out to this trip.

Prepared by the Lindsay Park team, the mare has been the runner up in two of her four starts and looks to have plenty of upside.

She was only narrowly beaten when resuming, charging home over the top of them late to just miss and last time, up to 1400m, she was again doing her best work over the final part.

This looks an ideal race and I think she’ll prove too good for them.

Frothsay caught the eye when charging home late over the 1000m on debut and she’s sure to have taken plenty of benefit from the experience.

The locally trained filly was taken back to last off the wide gate and when brought the outside of the top of the straight, she powered home to get within a length of the winner.

The rise to 1200m looks ideal and gate five can see her settle within striking distance under Michael Rodd.

Up And Comer is racing well and looks nicely placed here.

A dominant winner in country NSW three runs back he’s since been the runner up in two subsequent starts.

His latest run was over this track and trip where he took up the running and was just run down late.

He’s fit, he gets a 5kg pull over Likeabeel this time and I think he can go one better.

Moonfleet didn’t have the best of luck last start when stepping out over this track and distance but I think she can atone for that here.

Getting back, she wanted to overace and was then held up in the early part of the straight.

Only lightly raced having had the five starts, she’s shown good ability and she presents here at peak fitness.

She’ll relish getting onto a soft track and draws to get the gun run.
