No. 6 Zardozi

J: Jamie Melham (57kg) T: James Cummings

Zardozi looks ready to peak following a very encouraging second up effort in the Blamey.

The Godolphin mare just did enough when resuming in the Apollo Stakes and out to the mile last time, she powered home from the tail to claim third.

The rise in trip suits and the small field can see her settle within striking distance.

CAULFIELD: Race 7 (3:40pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 3 She's Got Pizzazz

J: Craig Williams (57kg) T: Peter G Moody & Katherine Coleman

She’s Got Pizzazz was doing her best work late when resuming over 1000m at Flemington and she looks to have a lot in her favour here.

Stepping out against the older horses, she was hampered after jumping and settled back second last but finished off strongly, taking good ground off them over the final 100m.

She strips fitter, she’ll relish the rise to 1200m and back against her age group, she looks ideally placed.

RANDWICK: Race 5 (2:50pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win Market Mover

No. 1 Lindermann

J: Nash Rawiller (58kg) T: Chris Waller

Lindermann has been superb in two runs back this time in and looks perfectly placed here in the Sky High Stakes.

The Chris Waller trained gelding kicked off in the Apollo where he took up the running and showed a strong kick in the straight, with only Fangirl getting the better of him late.

Out to the mile last time in the Verry Elleegant he travelled sweetly and again showed plenty of fight in the straight, finishing less than half a length off Via Sistina.

He presents at peak fitness, he’s unbeaten in two appearances over the 2000m here and Nash Rawiller knows how to get the best out of him.

RANDWICK: Race 8 (4:35pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 4 Lady Shenandoah

J: James McDonald (54.5kg) T: Chris Waller

Lady Shenandoah has continued to improve which each outing and she I’m sticking with her here.

She was ultra impressive when saluting first up in the Light Fingers and when tested by Lady of Camelot last start in the Surround, she showed plenty of tenacity to get the job done.

This will be her toughest test to date as she takes on the older mares for the first time but the fact that she clocked almost three seconds faster than the Amelia’s Jewel last start, which was the race prior, suggest she’s more than up to the task and James McDonald will get down to 54.5kgs to stick with her.
