MUSWELLBROOK: Race 1 (1:10pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 1 Telling

J: Braith Nock (58.5kg) T: Peter Snowden

Telling returns to the races.

The Peter Snowden trained colt just had the two starts in his first preparation and showed enough, but gave the impression he’d benefit from more time.

Given just that, he comes here off two recent Rosehill trials and looked sharp winning his latest heat.

He has the benefit of race experience over most of these and should find this easier than what he contested last time in.

CRANBOURNE: Race 1 (6:15pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win Market Mover

No. 4 Foxenberg

J: Daniel Stackhouse (59kg) T: Clayton Douglas

Foxenburg will make his raceday debut and the son of Foxwedge has been ultra impressive winning three recent jump outs.

A free running type, he’s shown plenty of early speed to put up big margins early and has been able to hold those as he cruises through the line.

Daniel Stackhouse will do the steering and I think he’ll prove hard to catch.

CRANBOURNE: Race 3 (7:15 AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win Market Mover

No. 5 Steadfast

J: Logan Bates (57kg) T: Cindy Alderson

Steadfast has been the runner up at her past two starts and looks ready to peak.

Up to 1500m on the Caulfield Heath at just her third start, the daughter of Grunt travelled outside the leader and tried hard in the straight but just couldn’t reel her in.

Last time up to the mile on the Hillside she was even better again, hitting the front 200m out but was just nailed right on the line.

She looks an improving type and gets in nicely with the 2kg claim for Logan Bates.

CRANBOURNE: Race 5 (8:15pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 5 Highlands

J: Logan Bates (59kg) T: Gavin Bedggood

Highlands is ultra consistent and looks well placed to get another win on the board.

The former Godolphin galloper won well on the Lakeside at his second run for new trainer Gavin Bedgoood and he was very again last time there, just collared late when leading over the 1500m.

He drops back to provincial grade, back to 1400m and he gets in nicely with Logan Bates’ 2kg claim.
