Albion Park: Race 4 7:23pm AEDT
No. 2 Final Rose

Final Rose returned from a lengthy spell following a fall in October in terrific fashion last start at Casino.

The Jacob Northfield-trained bitch showed excellent speed to lead the 300m contest all the way in 16.70 seconds.

That time was considerably quicker than what she had previously been able to produce so she looks to be back.

She’s drawn to get the favours.

Albion Park: Race 8 8:49pm AEDT
No. 6 Hope’s Zone

It’s hard not to love the winning machine that is Hope’s Zone.

The Travis Elson-trained bitch has won 27 of 39 starts over this course and distance with nine placings.

One of those victories came two starts back when leading all the way from the inside box in 18.82 seconds.

Unfortunately, she was unusually beaten for early speed last start when finishing third here.

She can lead any field and I expect her to get on the arm early and claim the win.

Albion Park: Race 9 9:11pm AEDT
No. 2 Travis’s Scrub

Travis’s Scrub is having a rare start over 331m but I think it’s a good move by astute trainer Travis Elson given his bitch hasn’t had a lot of racing lately.

The daughter of Fernando Bale last raced over this course and distance a year ago and she flew around in 18.77 seconds for the win.

He has the early speed to lead and go all the way as he did four and five starts ago when winning over 395m here in 22.62 and 22.38 seconds.

Albion Park: Race 10 9:28pm AEDT
No. 3 Scrub’s Rocket

Scrub’s Rocket should be able to cross and find the arm against this field.

The Travis Elson-trained bitch was a winner here over 395m three starts ago when leading all the way in a best of the night 22.61 seconds.

He’s won 10 of 30 over this course and distance and boasts a best time of 18.70 seconds which he set in January, so the drop back to this shorter trip will suit.
