Our Eagle Farm tips focus on Queensland’s major metro meeting this Saturday with 10 races set to be run and won.
The track is rated a Soft 5 with the chance of rain, while the rail remains out 2.5m.

Race 1 - 12:12PM BRC MEMBERSHIP Class 3 Handicap (1600 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Imatruestar
I’matruestar and Influential meet again after the latter got the upper hand at Doomben two weeks ago over 1350m.
I’matruestar took a little while to wind up after finding the centre of the track out of the turn, but I thought he gave nice chase to really close the gap through the line for second.
He’s been up for a while, but having placed on a couple of occasions over the mile, this sharp rise in trip should suit if Robbie Dolan finds cover early.
Race 2 - 12:47PM BRC MILLINERS MARKET 11 APRIL Class 2 Plate (1000 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 7 Ouroboros
Ouroboros can take a few runs to warm into his prep, but with strong Melbourne form lines leading into his Queensland debut, he’s still the one to beat.
The son of Harry’s Angel was runner-up to Cylinder in a Group 3 a couple of years ago, before resuming for a very brief autumn prep that last saw him run in the Inglis Sprint on this same day last year.
There’s every chance he’s in need of the run, but on the back of a trial win with the low gate in his favour, his class should take him a long way.
Race 3 - 1:22PM STRADBROKE SEASON BOOK NOW QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap (1300 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 3 Love To Torque
Really like the way Love To Torque won first-up here over the track and distance, even if it was a nervous watch for the punters.
Stuart Kendrick’s gelding was back early and faced with a stack of ground to make up approaching the 200m mark, up until Kyle Wilson-Taylor shifted to the outside to storm the line in a race that set up beautifully for the swoopers.
The pair can’t afford to give away as much of a start this time, but if they settle closer to the speed and handle a firmer track, there’s nothing to say they can’t win again.
Race 4 - 1:57PM SKY RACING QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (1400 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 7 Annie One Ready
Annie One Ready is making her third start for David Vandyke after shedding the maiden tag in fine style at Ipswich a couple of weeks ago.
The filly by Better Than Ready bolted in to score with serious authority, rounding up the leader for a dominant win over 1.5 lengths clear.
She clearly possesses a turn of foot, and although this is tougher again up to Saturday grade, I’m confident she can measure up if Cejay Graham has her within striking distance.
Race 5 - 2:32PM THE GIBSON BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (2206 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 4 Aldeenaary
Aldeenaary just needs the track to stay dry to be a serious player.
The old boy went clear to win by just over a length over a similar distance here in late December, and has since held his form well to return a place in two of his three starts.
A closer setup to the speed would make him difficult to hold out, particularly if he doesn’t spend too much petrol offsetting the wide gate in the early stages.
Race 6 - 3:07PM XXXX BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (1400 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 6 Set To Shine
Set To Shine looks ready to live up to her namesake third-up.
Tony Gollan’s mare found excuses in her second start over the track and trip a fortnight ago, eventually forced to settle for fifth after being squeezed badly between a pair around the 250m mark.
Her late sectionals over 1200m first-up suggested she was in for an enormous prep however, and with the weight claim and the soft gate both in her favour, she looks ready to run a huge race.
Race 7 - 3:43PM EVA AIR BENCHMARK 68 Handicap (1300 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 No Name Frank
No Name Frank has been racing well enough to give an open race like this a real shake.
The lightly-raced gelding by Super Seth has found the money in two runs since returning from a let-up, looming the winner two back at the Sunshine Coast before his condition gave way, and then battling on well for third in his latest effort here at Eagle Farm.
After tackling 1200m in his latest, the rise in distance should suit here with some handy wet track form also on his resume. Drawn well with Georgina Cartwright also experienced in the saddle, he’s worth a look each way.
Race 8 - 4:23PM ROKU GIN BENCHMARK 90 Handicap (1000 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Compelling Truth
Compelling Truth looks ready to rock n roll fresh for Mack Griffith.
The son to I Am Invincible was ultra consistent right through the winter and spring last year, winning six of his eight starts on his way to a tired performance in The Kosciuszko to wrap things up.
His trial work leading in suggests he’s ready to bounce back though, and with five wins to his name over the short 1000m trip, the low gate makes him the one to beat.
Race 9 - 5:05PM LADBROKES BET TICKER Class 6 Plate (1200 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 11 Termagant
I’ve been with Termagant in her last few starts and I’m not about to hop off.
This mare by Deep Field rewarded connections with a dominant 2.3 length win at Doomben a couple of weeks ago, letting down with a huge run from midfield to score with plenty left in reserve.
Hard fit now fourth-up with Nikita Berriman operating from the inside barrier, a repeat dose of that effort would see her just as hard to hold out.
Race 10 - 5:40PM MAGIC MILLIONS GOLD COAST MARCH Class 6 Handicap (1600 METRES)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 5 Rising Pacific
Rising Pacific can win here if he produces his best.
Tony Gollan’s gelding laid in under pressure and was forced to settle for third when rising to the mile last start, but keep in mind he was competing off a three-week break.
His previous win over shorter on the Sunshine Coast was solid when you consider the late ground he had to make up, so there is a case to be made for natural improvement now.
Providing he gets away on time and doesn’t blow the start, Andrew Mallyon should have plenty of horse to work with over the late stages.
