No. 3 Chicago King
Chicago King is becoming costly but I think the Street Boss gelding will be winning if he’s on is best behaviour.
Placed in three of his five starts, he’s shown he has the ability but things just haven’t gone right for the gelding, much of which has been by his own doing.
At his second run back this campaign, he knuckled upon jumping and was then held up approaching the home turn but finished off strongly into second.
Last time, he drew the inside gate at Mornington but dislodged his rider as the gates opened and took no part.
He’s since been sent back to the trials where he did everything right and won the 1200m heat in good style.
He looks well suited up to the mile and the visors go on, replacing the blinkers.

NO. 14 Hubristic
There was a bit to like about the debut performance of Hubristic and she’s sure to have taken plenty of improvement from it.
Over 1200m at Mornington, the Price / Kent trained filly got back and was always wide of the outside draw but still finished off strongly into fourth.
With that run under her belt, the rise to 1400m looks ideal and if she slot in and find cover early, she’ll be strong late.

No. 2 Bremel
Bremel didn’t have the best of luck when making her debut over 1100m at Warwick Farm but she will have taken plenty of benefit from the experience.
She just wanted to race a bit keen in the early stages and was then held up approaching the turn and in the early part of the straight but finished off nicely into fourth.
She was a very impressive when winning a 1000m trial prior and with even luck, should prove hard to beat.

No. Just In Time
Just In Time kicked off her preparation with a very encouraging effort in BM72 company and she strips fitter for it.
Stepping out over 1250m on the Kensington, the Justify mare found herself back at the tail and finished off strongly along the inside to claim fourth.
Only lightly raced having had the four starts, she won well on debut before taking the leap to stakes level.
Given time, she looks to have come back in top order and the rise to 1400m will suit.
She drops back in grade and barrier three can settle closer in the run under Tim Clark.
