Bulli: Race 5 7:46pm AEDT
No. 1 Good Odds Dolly

Good Odds Dolly has the benefit of the inside box in this Fifth Grade Final and I think that will be the difference.

The daughter of Aston Rupee showed good speed from box 7 to lead all the way in her heat in 22.66 seconds.

She held out her main rival Bullemore Banner and I think she can again given he has the squeeze box to contend with.

Bulli: Race 7 8:24pm AEDT
No. 4 Square Up

Square Up looks well placed in this field with his four wins from seven races record.

The son of Fabregas is undefeated in two starts over this course and distance with both wins coming in her past two starts.

On each occasion he has led all the way in best of the night times of 26.16 seconds and 26.12 seconds.

The vacant box to his immediate inside is a plus and I expect him to be able to cross those dogs inside him to lead from box 4.

Bull: Race 8 8:42pm AEDT
No. 1 Good Odds Cobber

When dogs are so evenly matched in finals, inside boxes are gold and that’s why I’m going with Good Odds Cobber who draws the prized box 1 in this year’s Bulli Gold Cup final.

The Fernando Bale chaser started outside Tattooed in his heat and just couldn’t cross but found the line well for a 1.5 length second.

I think with the roles reversed, so too will be the finishing positions.

Two starts ago Good Odds Cobber won the G1 Gold Bullion final when exiting this box to take his record to seven wins from eight starts when wearing the red rug.

Bulli: Race 9 9:07pm AEDT
No. 1 Cool Junior

Cool Junior will appreciate the drop in class after finishing fifth to Tattooed in a heat of the Bulli Gold Cup last start.

Prior to that, the Peter Lagogiane-trained dog had won four in a row at Maitland and Gosford including a best of the night 29.26 seconds over 515m four starts back.

He has the speed to make full use of the inside box and hold out Slick Badger.
