Premier League Game Week 21 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 21 Tips & Preview

The Premier League silly season continues, as a full slate of fixtures are set to be played out mid-week.

Game Week 21 gets underway with a shootout between Brentford and Man City.

Elsewhere, Nottingham look to complete a double over league leaders Liverpool, while the Gunners play host to a North London Derby.

The Offside Oracle has previewed all 10 Premier League fixtures, providing his best betting plays below.

Brentford vs Manchester City
Man City to Win & Both Teams to Score $2.60

Man City look to make it three wins on the trot for the first time since October 2024, when they travel to the capital to take on Brentford.

That task might be easier said than done, with the Bees holding the second best home record in the league (7W,1D,2D), behind only comp leaders Liverpool.

That being said, the Bees only two home defeats have come in their last two appearance at the Brentford Community Stadium, going down by two goals to both Arsenal (2-0) and Nottingham (3-1).

The Bees home games have averaged a league-high 4.6 goals, with the Over 3.5 Total Goal market saluting in seven of the 10 fixtures in Brentford.

I’m backing another shootout to materialise here, with Man City winning and both sides scoring.

Chelsea vs AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth $4.40

The Blues look to arrest a four game winless streak (2D,2L) when they welcome the Cherries to the Bridge.

Alternatively, Bournemouth are without defeat in eight league fixtures (5W,3D), and are just three points back from the Blues and a top four position.

Chelsea will take solace in the fact they are undefeated against the Cherries since 2019 (4W,2D), but they were also unbeaten against Ipswich since ’93 before going down 2-0 to the Tractor Boys in GW19.

The Blues are struggling with a few backline absentees at the minute, and I believe the Cherries have the players, the form, and the confidence to pull off an upset at the Bridge.

West Ham United vs Fulham
Fulham $2.40

Fulham look to stay in touch with the top six with a victory over a floundering Hammers outfit.

The Cottagers are on an eight-game unbeaten run, and have only lost once in their last 12 fixtures (4W,7D,1L).

Meanwhile, the Irons are starring down the barrel of three straight league defeats, after conceding nine goals across their last two games.

Fulham have enjoyed this fixture in recent times, winning two of the last three derbies against the Hammers (1D), with an aggregate of 8-1.

I’m taking Fulham on the road.

Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool
Liverpool and Under 4.5 Goals $2.10

The Reds travel to Nottingham to take on the only club who have bettered them this season, the Trees.

Along with Newcastle, Forest are the form side in the comp, winning six straight league fixtures, and keeping four straight clean sheets.

Meanwhile, the Reds missed an opportunity to go eight points clear on top of the table with a game in hand, when they drew against historic rivals, the 14th placed Man United.

That draw was the second in five games for Liverpool, who are allowing the likes of Arsenal and now Notts Forest to remain within touching distance (6 points).

I can’t see the Reds underestimating the Trees ability again, and Arne Slot won’t need to provide any external motivation for his squad to show up on game day.

I have Liverpool evening the ledger against Nottingham, combined with under 4.5 goals, which has hit in 19 of Forest’s 20 games.

Everton FC vs Aston Villa
Aston Villa $2.35

One win in 11 league fixtures has the Toffees looking over their shoulder, with the drop zone a mere competition point behind them.

Alternatively, the Villains bounced back to winning ways with a narrow victory over the Foxes, taking them within one win of the top six.

Aston Villa won the reverse fixture against the Toffees 3-2 thanks to a wonder strike from their young forward Jhon Duran.

Their is a vast discrepancy in the quality of these two outfits, and I believe the $2.35 on offer for Villa in the H2H market is an absolute steal.

Leicester City vs Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace $1.98

If the Toffees are in dire straights, then the Foxes are up shits creek without a paddle!

The 2016 EPL Champions have lost five straight league fixtures, going scoreless in three, leaving them in 19th place on the table.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are starting to find their wings in the league, losing just once in their last nine games (3W,5D).

I’m happy to back Crystal Palace on the road at just under evens.

Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Newcastle to Win & Isak to Score

The Toon look to make it eight wins on the trot across all comps when they welcome the Wolves to St. James Park.

Newcastle’s turn in form co-insides with an Alexander Isak purple patch, with the Swedish striker finding the back of the net in seven consecutive league fixtures, scoring nine goals across the trip, while laying on two assists.

Alternatively, Wolverhamptons new manager bump flatlined against the Trees last time out, going down 3-0, leaving them perched above the drop zone on goal difference alone.

I have the Magpies winning at home, combined with another goal from Isak.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur
Arsenal and Over 3.5 Goals $2.30

Unsurprisingly, Tottenham look set to avoid any league success this season, after winning just one of their last eight games (2D,5L).

Now that they’ve dashed their own dreams, they will be looking to do the same to their arch rivals, Arsenal.

The Gunners have lost once across their last 14 games in all comps (9W,4D), taking them to within 6 points of the Reds at the top of the table.

Tottenhams last league win at the Emirates came back in 2010, with Luka Modric, Rafael van der Vaart and Gareth Bale all starting for the visitors.

4+ goals have been scored in four of the previous five North London derbies at the Emirates.

I’m backing the Gunners to get the job done, combined with a busy night for the scorekeeper.

Ipswich Town vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Draw $3.70

The Seagulls fly to Ipswich to take on the Tractor Boys on Friday morning (AEST).

Brighton head into this fixture off the back of four straight league draws, and currently lead the league in stalemates (10D).

Ipswich also enter this fixture of the back of a draw, taking their season tally to seven.

In fact, the points have been split in the last three match-ups between this pair.

So naturally I’m backing another draw!

Manchester United vs Southampton FC
Man U to Nil $2.24

The Red Devils take on the Saints, in a battle of Bad Vs Bad.

The form guide is grim reading for both of these outfits, Man U have collected one point across their last four games, while the Saints have picked up six points over the opening 20!

No side has scored fewer goals than Southampton’s 12 this season, with Everton the next worst on 15.

The Saint’s have been kept scoreless in five of their last six league fixtures, and have failed to score in their previous three games against Man U.

I’m taking Man United to win to nil at home.
