At Point I’m taking Dolla Dame, who has averaged 27-5-7 across his last 10 games, hitting 25+ points in six of his last seven appearances.
SHOOTING GUARD: Norman Powell 20+ Points
I’ve got Norm Powell at Shooting Guard. Powell has enjoyed a break out season, stepping up to fill the void left by the departure of Paul George. Norm has averaged 25 points across the Clippers last 10 games, and is currently the bookies favourite to take out the NBA’s most improved player award.
SMALL FORWARD: P.J. Washington 15+ Points
At Small Forward I am taking P.J. Washington from the Mavs. P.J. has stepped up his game in the absence of Luka Doncic, averaging 17-10-3 across his last 10 games, a 3-point improvement on his season scoring average. I like him for another 15+ points against the Pistons, a mark he has hit in his last five games.
POWER FORWARD: Kevin Durant 25+ Points
The Slim Reaper is slipping into my team at Power Forward. KD has averaged 28 points across his last 10 starts, helping the Suns to a 7-3 record across the trip. The All Star wing loves to get up against his old side, and I’m looking forward to seeing him trade buckets with Steph Curry here.
CENTER: Nikola Jokic 25+ Points 12+ Boards
At Center I am taking none other than 3x League MVP, Nikola Jokic. The Nuggets are staring down the barrel of a fourth straight defeat when they travel to Philly this weekend. Jokic dropped 27-13-10 in a 35-point victory the last time these sides met, and I’m backing him to stuff the stat sheet again.
