No. 5 Belvedere Boys

J: Blake Shinn (56kg) T: Matthew Dunn

Belvedere Boys earned his spot in the Magic Millions Subzero by winning The Shoot Out at Eagle Farm last start.

The Matt Dunn-trained son of Maurice recovered from being crowded early in the 2100m contest, to storm home and win by 1.2 lengths.

He was a month between runs so will strip fitter and is racing in great form having won the Country Classic at Randwick two starts ago.

He’s drawn wide but there looks to be good speed in the race which should see Blake Shinn able to slide across and settle around midfield.

Wyong: Race 6 3:30pm AEDT

No. 2 Invader Zim

J: Benjamin Osmond (60kg) T: Chris Waller

Invader Zim worked to the line strongly when finishing 2.3 lengths second to Disneck when resuming over 1200m at Randwick last start.

That is excellent form given Disneck is low key flying and subsequently won his next start.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding will strip fitter second-up and is undefeated in two previous second-up races.

He’s a previous winner over this distance on a heavy track so a rain-affected surface won’t worry him.

Win

No. 4 Yorkshire

J: Billy Loughnane (59kg) T: John O'Shea & Tom Charlton

Yorkshire returned in super order last start when finishing a nose second to Accredited.

The O’Shea & Charlton-trained gelding unsuccessfully protested but regardless, Accredited has since won again to frank the form.

He will strip fitter second-up and raced in terrific fashion last preparation with three wins from four starts.

The wetter the better for this guy given he’s won two of three on heavy tracks.

No. 2 Cifrado

Cifrado has been in superb form this preparation.

The Rex Lipp-trained Encryption gelding opened his campaign with back-to-back seconds in the Swiss Ace Plate and the G3 George Moore Stakes

He then proved too strong in the Listed Lough Neagh Stakes when steaming home for a 2.2 length win.

Last start in the Buffering he found the line strongly along the inside when the better going was on the outside so there was plenty of merit in his 1.5 length third

He’s at peak fitness now and drawn to get a great run in the Magic Millions QTIS Open this year.
