The Devils are back on the east coast following a rough road trip out west where they went 1-4 in their last five, with the only win coming in Seattle.
While still technically on the road this is a much shorter road trip having to cross just the one bridge to get to Madison Square Garden, a venue they won 5-1 at earlier in the season.
Overall they have been decent on the road as well, going 13-9 on the season while the Rangers have gone 8-9-2.
I’m happy to take the Devils with some strong confidence here now that they are back in a familiar time zone.

The Isles needed overtime to win in Boston in their last outing before heading out to the desert.
On the other side of the equation, the Pacific division leading Golden Knights have gone 9-1 in their last 10 games, most impressively winning all nine of those games in regulation.
Their only road trips since Christmas have been to San Jose so they will not be travel weary and you have to back the in form team for this one.
