The Meadows: Race 2 7:02pm AEDT
No. 1 Wyong Dallas

Wyong Dallas has started his career in fine style with two wins and three placings from five starts.

The son of Fernando Bale has improved with each start and was last seen flying around Ballarat in 25.10 seconds for a win over 450m.

He looks ready to step up to this sprint trip in town.

I expect him to find the front early from box 1 and leave his rivals in his dust.

The Meadows: Race 5 8:11pm AEDT
No. 4 Paw Ollie

Paw Ollie is racing in the form of his career with three wins from his past four starts.

The Bernardo dog produced an excellent effort over 515m at Sandown Park last start when powering around the first bend to take the lead in the back straight before chasing clear to win in 29.41 seconds.

He can muster speed quickly so he should be able to get on the stripes’ back before powering away late.

The Meadows: Race 7 8:49pm AEDT
No. 8 Paw Oswald

Paw Oswald returns to Melbourne as the G1 National Derby winner.

The son of Feral Franky sat outside Zipping Kristoff early in the run before drawing clear in the back straight before going on to easily win in a slick 29.50 seconds.

That was his fourth win in a row which included a win from this box over this course and distance four starts ago.

There’s not a great deal of speed in the race which should see him able to cross and find a prominent position.

The Meadows: Race 9 9:30pm AEDT
No. 4 Leo Bale

Leo Bale has been racing in great form particularly over this course and distance.

The son of Christo Bale was an all the way winner here last start when clocking 29.86 seconds.

Three starts back he registered his personal best time of 29.63 seconds when missing the win by a whisker.

He has the speed to cross and get on the arm from box 4.
