Daily Dogs – Wednesday, January 8

THE MEADOWS: Race 1 (5:53pm)
No. 8 Paw Waverly

Paw Waverley has been the runner up in both starts to date and she looks nicely placed to go one better.

Both runs have seen her finish off strongly over the 425m at Bendigo and she’s sure to relish the rise in distance here.

THE MEADOWS: Race 2 (6:18pm)
No. 8 Fagues

Yet to miss the frame in five race starts, Fages is putting together a very tidy record.

He won well here three starts before a narrow second placing and last time, he turned out a top effort in a mix 6/7 at Sandown.

He should find this a touch easier and off the outside box, he’ll have the speed to cross and will be hard to catch.

THE MEADOWS: Race 8 (8:18pm)
No. 1 Letizia

Letizia is in red hot form and will look to make it three on the bounce.

She went back to back over 500m at Bendigo before making her first appearance here, where she again proved too slick.

A fast beginner, she looks the one to beat off the inside draw.

THE MEADOWS: Race 9 (8:38pm)
No. 8 Aviation

Aviation is another looking to make it three straight at tonights meeting.

A winner of three from six he’s proving himself to be very handy and all of his wins have been by big margins.

He scored by just over 5 lengths two runs back and was dominant again last time, accelerating away to put up a 6.5 length margin on the line.

He lines up here for the first time and he looks hard to beat.
