Everybody Rise returned this preparation as a gelding and the procedure has worked wonders for him. 

The Peter Snowden-trained son of Snitzel was no match for Madam Instrife over 1100m at Canterbury but did comfortably beat the rest by three lengths when finishing second by 1.3 lengths. 

He’ll strip fitter second-up and with a lack of speed in the race may settle in more forward position. 

Writego makes her debut here following three trials spanning a year. 

The Chris Waller-trained Zoustar filly could not have been more impressive in her most recent trial where she showed good gate speed to lead comfortably before putting 4.66 lengths on her rivals in the straight to win. 

She’s drawn well in barrier 1 which should see Jason Collett use her speed to take up a prominent position. 

Midnight Dynamite started his preparation in fine style with back-to-back wins at Nowra and Canterbury. 

The Bjorn Baker-trained son of Pierata then chased hard at Rosehill to finish 1.4 lengths third to Private Harry who was low flying with three wins in a row. 

Last start he lost a hind plate but still gave a massive sight over 1300m at Randwick only to be nailed late and finish a head second. 

He maps beautifully and Josh Parr should be able to dictate the speed in front. 

Chica Mojito is banging on the door for a win after finishing runner-up in five of her six races this preparation. 

The Chris Waller-trained mare stormed home last start over 1600m at Randwick and if she’d kept her head straight she would have won, but instead she had to settle for a nose second to Pier Pressure. 

She meets the winner 4kg better at the weights. 

Jason Collett sticks and will give her a great run behind the strong speed before letting her launch in the straight.
