No. 3 Mr O’reilly
Mr O’reilly has seen nothing but wet tracks during his short time at the races, so the Soft conditions should be right up his alley on Friday night.
Bevan Laming’s three-year-old spotted his rivals a start on return over 1400m here last start on a bottomless track, before making up ground late to run third behind Canavese.
This is a sharp rise in trip out to 1800m, but indicating he wants further following a strong run through the line, he should be prove difficult to catch if he gets a nice run in behind the speed.

No. 4 I Am Caviar
This does look a nice race for I Am Caviar if he gets some early luck from out wide.
Tony Gollan’s five-year-old continues to burn punters, finding the money twice this prep here on the Gold Coast and Ipswich where he’s been well-backed on both occasions.
That said, there were excuses on offer last start where he was shuffled back in the run, eventually storming home late to finish half a length off.
Proven in the wet and likely to land on the speed, I’m happy to stick with him.
Gold Coast: Race 5 (7:08pm)

No. 2 Earn To Burn
This race could turn out to be anything with the entire field on debut, but there was a bit to like about Earn To Burn’s recent trial on the Sunshine Coast in which he won by three lengths.
Out of Better Than Ready, this promising two-year-old colt wasn’t asked to do much before quickening late for a solid win.
His breeding suggests he should be winning a few races and if he gets the right run from out wide, he’ll be in with a shot.
Gold Coast: Race 6 (7:38pm)

No. 6 Mishani Lily
Banking on Mishani Lily’s fitness being the deciding factor here.
The filly by Kobayashi is deep into her prep, winning first and second-up before finding the line nicely for third at Doomben last start where she was lugging around some big weight.
She gets in nice and light here with the claim and does have wet-track experience to her name. Likely to roll forward early, she’ll be one of the hardest to catch.
