The Meadows: Race 3 (7:37pm AEDT)
No. 4 Fages

Fages looks tough to beat following an impressive maiden win over this course and distance last start.

The son of Aston Rupee showed excellent speed to win in 30.19 seconds which backed up a 30.25 second run his start prior.

He just needs to replicate those efforts and he gets a great chance to do so with a vacant box to his inside.

The Meadows: Race 5 (8:17pm AEDT)
No. 2 Crocodile Roll

Crocodile Roll has been racing in super form and returns to the 600m trip after finishing third in a heat of the Silver Chief last start.

Two starts back the son of Aston Rupee recorded a personal best over this course and distance when leading all the way in 34.40 seconds.

There is no doubting Liveable has the speed to lead from the red, but she’s been an untrustworthy beginner lately so Crocodile Roll can either lead or camp on her back and prove hard to beat.

The Meadows: Race 6 (8:41pm AEDT)
No. 4 Reiterate

Reiterate will find this a lot easier than his recent races where he competed in heats of the Hume Cup and the Bold Trease.

The son of Fernando Bale will also strip fitter given this is his third run back from a spell.

He has a good record over this course and distance, boasting two wins and three seconds from six starts.

If he runs anywhere near his best, they won’t get near him.

The Meadows: Race 7 (8:57pm AEDT)
No. 2 Lanfranco

Put simply, if Lanfranco brings his A Game then he should be winning this.

The Feral Franky dog has won three of his past six starts including two starts back when clocking 29.86 seconds over the sprint trip.

He’s equally adept over this course and distance having won five and six starts ago in 35.15 seconds and 34.85 seconds.

He has the early speed to either get on the arm or settle handy from box 2.
