Tuta Betty kicked of her career with a very encouraging effort over this track and trip and will have taken plenty of benefit from the experience.
Jumping from box three the daughter of Aussie Infrared showed good early speed before striking trouble and she then covered plenty of ground but did well to finish second, beaten only 1.5 lengths.
She’ll jump from box four here and with even luck, should prove hard to beat.
Tuta Endless did everything right on debut but just bumped into the very smart, Roscoe Ray and had to settle for second.
Off the outbox box he was able to muster good speed and chased hard to go down by less than two lengths.
He’ll be better for the experience and I think he can go one better here.
Smooth Supreme is another that made a good impression on debut but just found one better on the day.
The youngster jumped away well and showed plenty of natural speed but just couldn’t reel in the eventual winner.
Beaten only a length, he did post an eight length margin back to the rest and with natural improvement, he’ll be hard to beat.
Speedy Sapphire has yet to miss the frame in three starts and looks promising.
She proved too slick at her first go over the 288m here and last start, was only beaten a length but put up a big gap back to the rest.
An improving type, she looks well placed to get another win on the board.
