Albion Park: Race 3 (8:28pm AEDT)
No. 1 Kia Kaha

Kia Kaha has been racing in great form and can claim the QGold Summer Sprint Final.

The Warren Nicholls-trained bitch was last seen giving a big sight in the Queensland Flame Final last Thursday when finishing second in 29.97 seconds.

Three starts back she finished third in the G1 Ipswich Cup after winning her heat of the series in 30.36 seconds.

She should get on the arm from box 1 and prove hard to run down.

Albion Park: Race 4 (8:46pm AEDT)
No.1 Shaula

Shaula had no luck in her first two starts for Tom Tzouvelis when slow away and then copping checks.

She showed what she was capable of last start when powering home after yet another tardy start to win in 30.29 seconds.

There is no doubting the daughter of Koblenz’s talent given she won both her starts at Wentworth Park prior to coming to Queensland including the Million Dollar Chase Maiden Final where she clocked a best of the night 29.33 seconds over 520m.

She’s capable of beginning quickly so hopefully she can do that here.

Albion Park: Race 6 (9:31pm AEDT)
No. 7 More Than Money

More Than Money couldn’t cross from box 8 last start in the Ipswich Cup Final and had to settle for fifth.

The son of Aston Rupee had won his heat of the Ipswich Cup in 30.55 seconds and three starts back he worked home well in the final of the Ipswich Derby to finish fourth.

He has a good record over this course and distance and boasts a personal best of 29.74 seconds which he set in August.

He’s well placed in this Queensland Emerging Sprinters heat and just needs to be in striking distance on the home bend to be featuring.

Albion Park: Race 7 (9:56pm AEDT)
No. 3 Hara’s Luna

Hara’s Luna is a stayer who improves at every start she has.

The Jemma Daley-trained bitch recorded a personal best over this course and distance last start when jumping straight to the front and going all the way for a 12.25 length win in 41.61 seconds.

She’s won 14 of 24 starts including her past two here.

She has the speed to find the front and hopefully can hold off Valpolicella late.
