The Good, The Bad and The Fantasy – NFL Week 10 2024 Recap

The Good, The Bad and The Fantasy – NFL Week 10 2024 Recap

It was another massive week of NFL in Week 10, if you had to play Ja’Marr Chase in fantasy – I send my condolences.

There’s plenty to discuss this week, let’s dive into my Week 10 recap!

NFL WEEK 10 TIER LIST

The Good

Ja’Marr Chase

Let’s start with the obvious one.

11 Rec for 264 Yards and 3 TDs.

Anywhere between 45 and 70 fantasy points depending on your format.

The majority of Chase owners had won their fantasy matchup before the week had even started this week.

Chase is now on track to win the triple crown, which is an unofficial accolade for a player who finishes the year in the number one spot for receptions, yards and touchdowns.

Cooper Kupp did it in 2021 and it saw him with OPOTY, would it be enough for Ja’Marr to win the same award given how much Derrick Henry is shredding?

We’ll have to wait and see.

The Carolina Panthers

That smile, that damn smile.

For the first time in is his pro career, Bryce Young has won back to back games and despite not a strong showing stat sheet wise.

The narrative is starting to turn around for the man everyone (not me) loved to hate for the last 18 months.

Bryce looks a refreshed QB and is confidence and play is really starting to radiate through the tv screen.

A couple of poor drops from his young WRs let him down statistically but this is a team that looks like it’s finally starting to trend up.

I don’t care if they played a Giants team that wouldn’t win in the XFL.

Sometimes you need to beat bad teams to get your swagger back.

Am I allowed to go on a victory lap as a Bryce Young truther yet?

Probably not yet but what I am allowed to say is this league is in a much better place when this YOUNG fella is smiling.

STUNT ON THESE HOES.

The Patriots Defence

Very rare I give a defence any kudos but this week’s version of New England deserve it.

Nine whole sacks on Caleb Williams certainly makes life a whole lot easier for a young offence, especially when their opponents are absolutely hating life.

This Pats performance could be enough to cause a shake up in the Chicago coaches room.

Imagine playing a game so well you ruin a man’s livelihood (something the Pats haven’t done since the Brady-Belichick days).

Huge scenes from the Pats, can they replicate this against the Rams next week?

The Raygun Celly

Kind of wish an Australian wasn’t the laughing stock of the world in 2024 but you have to admit, this celebration to ice the game is pretty funny.

Arizona Cardinals

Put some respect on Arizona, both sides of the ball are rolling at the moment.

Kyler Murray is back to his post ACL tear form, he’s got a defence that isn’t giving teams anything and the likes of MHJ, Trey McBride and James Conner are one of the best supporting casts in football.

The Cardinals lead the NFC West at the moment, are they poised for a deep playoff run?

Just ignore the fact that K1 got his clock cleaned.

The Bad

The Giants

The Giants are unwatchable again.

Don’t get me wrong, Malik Nabers was a great draft pick and Tyrone Tracy is another great addition but this team will go nowhere with Daniel Jones.

How this man has been given six seasons under the helm of one of the biggest franchises in world sport is ridiculous.

The Giants are now the front runners for the first overall pick in 2025 and knowing NY like I do, this man gets another year and the Giants take Travis Hunter.

The Bears

Chi-Town fall to 4-5 and are yet to play an NFC North rival yet this season.

The rest of the North are all +500 and are arguably some of the strongest teams in the league. It’s not a hot take to say that Chicago’s playoff dreams this year are over.

There’s so many massive issues in Chicago, they cannot protect their franchise QB.

Not to mention the play calling is horrendous and it deadset looks like the coaches do not give a shit.

Eberflus has well and truly lost the locker room and I don’t believe success will come to the Bears while him and Waldron are in that building.

Cowboys stadium

I was always under the assumption that professional sports fields were not allowed to face east-west.

No one told Jerry Jones that.

Horrendous design oversight?

I lean towards yes, even though it was a blowout to the Eagles this week, Big Yellow cost Dallas a couple of points this week and it’s not the first time it’s happened either.

The Fantasy

Ja’Marr Chase deserves another shoutout

Lamar Jackson deserves MVP for this TD pass alone

Chuba Hubbard, league winner?

CMC owners that are 4-5 could run away with it this year

How does this all effect The Rizzler’s legacy?
