Daily NHL Tips – Wednesday, November 6

Boston Bruins @ Toronto Maple Leafs, 11:08am
Tip: Back the Bruins to Win @ $2.25

The Bruins and Leafs square off for the second time in as many weeks after Boston won the first meeting on Brad Marchand’s overtime goal.

Boston’s slow start has been the talk of the hockey world over the last few weeks, but the B’s have responded nicely over the weekend with back-to-back shutout wins over the Kraken and Flyers.

In comparison, the Leafs are coming off two tough road losses to the Blues and Wild as the power play continues to struggle.

Neither side inspires a great deal of confidence right now, but when you factor in recent form, I think the oddsmakers have got this one wrong.

Los Angeles Kings @ Minnesota Wild, 1:08pm
Tip: Back the Wild to Win @ $1.62

The Kings are playing the second of a back to back after facing off agianst the Preds in Nashville last night.

This is a tricky travel spot heading to Minnesota on no rest, facing a Wild team that just beat the Leafs in overtime on Monday.

Kyle Kaprizov has been one of the league’s hottest players over the last three weeks, scoring 7 goals in his contract year. With some slight value on offer for the Wild @ $1.62, it’s worth pulling the trigger on the home side.

Seattle Kraken @ Colorado Avalanche, 1:08pm
Tip: Back the Avalanche to Win @ $1.60

The Kraken are playing their third game in four days when they take to the ice in Colorado.

The Avs’ goal-tending situation has been dismal to start the year with Alexander Georgiev struggling in net, but they do have a decent rest advantage having last played on Sunday in a 5-2 loss to Nashville.

For a goal, Ross Colton looks nice value. He leads Colorado with eight so far and is second to only Nathan Mackinnon in terms of shots. With three goals in eight games against the Kraken, he’s a great option if you’re looking for a multi option.
