Daily Racing Tips – Thursday, October 17

Bluebird Bay is making his second start for Sara Ryan.  

The colt by The Autumn Sun caught the eye on debut at Scone last month, handling a bottomless Heavy track in his stride after hitting the lead at the top of the straight.  

He ran out of gas over his final few strides, but the blinkers should help him settle in the run this time and avoid overracing.  

Drawn a perfect gate and back on top of the ground, this looks a perfect race for him to take the next step.  

Alpine Kandy strips fitter second-up for Team Neasham. 

The mare by Alpine Eagle was rewarded with another win fresh at Scone over slightly further a few weeks ago, punching clear after weaving her way through late traffic for a comfortable win on the line.  

She’s finished outside the money only twice from 11 starts, and although she’d probably like some juice in the track, this is still a winnable assignment back over shorter with improvement still to come.  

Let’s Go Again goes around in search of her hat-trick for Kerry Parker.  

The five-year-old daughter of Turffontein has been airborne this time in work, winning by half a length at Kembla Grange a few weeks ago on a very wet day over 100m shorter.  

The form out of that race has held up well with runner-up Mogul Monarch coming out and winning by a clear margin at Hawkesbury last week.  

Drawn a perfect gate and back on top of the ground, this shouldn’t be too much tougher.  

Bindi’s Choice should find firmer footing to her liking third-up.  

David Pfeiffer’s mare faced a sharp rise in trip at Rosehill a few weeks ago, settling midfield and giving good chase in the end to finish 3.4 lengths off Unique Ambition on a Soft track.  

The daughter of Denman doesn’t win out of turn, but has finally drawn an inside gate with a couple of likable performances to her name third-up in the past.
