It’s no surprise to find Declichy Boulevard start favourite in the Edward Manifold.

The Snitzel filly stretched out to finish within a length of Lilac in the Jim Moloney two weeks ago, a huge effort considering she was forced to make up ground down the outside from a long way back.

She’ll be suited by a wet track and looks incredibly hard to beat with Joao Moreira remaining in the irons. 

First Settler is looking to make amends after having his unbeaten run snapped in the Posideon Stakes a fortnight ago.

The lightly-raced Written Tycoon three-year-old finished only a length off the impressive Growing Empire, form that rates highly with that same horse going on to run second in the Manikato last week.

With a more patient ride from Michael Dee this time, we should see this smart colt bounce back in style. 

Sghirripa has claims racing back at Headquarters.

The South Australian raider won a Group 3 here at Flemington earlier in the year and could not have been more impressive first-up when storming home for third in a Stakes race at Morphettville.

The son of Lonhro showed some nice late speed once he angled into the clear and is likely to be a serious threat in the late stages from a perfect gate. 

Revolutionary Miss arguably should have won first-up at Caulfield a fortnight ago.

Now with Ciaron Maher, the mare by Russian Revolution was held up badly approaching the 200m mark, eventually angling into the clear to run on late for third.

Her second-up record leaves a bit to be desired, but she’s seemingly come back in fantastic order and will receive every chance from the low gate.
