Just the one game on tap between two familiar rivals on Tuesday.
The Lightning have opened the season 3-1 and the Leafs 3-2, but surprisingly, Tampa Bay currently sits dead last in the league in shots after a week and a half of play.
Toronto lost 4-1 to the Rangers at home on Sunday, a game that was much closer than the scoreline suggests.
The Leafs had plenty of opportunities but just couldn’t get past the brick wall that was Igor Shesterkin, while in their own net, it sounds like goalie Anthony Stolarz has avoided any kind of serious injury.
We’ll likely get Stolarz against Vasilevskiy in this game, and I’m leaning towards a low-scoring matchup given the Lightning have allowed only 10 goals on the season through four games.

Player Pick
If you fancy a player pick, you could do a lot worse than backing the league’s current leading goal scorer Nikita Kucherov, who’s found the back of the net seven times already.
Max Domi has also played a big hand in the Leafs’ winning start to the season with five assists already. He’s had two games of at least two assists in his last 10 apperances against the Lightning.
- Tip: Nikita Kucherov Anytime Goal Scorer, Max Domi Over 0.5 Assist
