Sandown Park: Race 2 (7:19pm AEDT)
No. 1 Whisky Trip

Whisky Trip has really hit his straps and is looking for three wins on the trot.

The son of Aston Rupee won two starts back over 450m at Ballarat in a smart 25.32 seconds but went to another level last start.

Starting from this box over this course and distance, he exploded out of the lids to go all the way in 29.23 seconds.

A repeat of that effort will see him awfully hard to beat.

Sandown Park: Race 7 (9:02pm AEDT)
No. 1 Vincent Bale

Vincent Bale rarely runs a bad race having won 12 from 28 starts with 10 placings.

The son of Christo Bale registered a best of the night time of 27.99 seconds when winning over 500m at Bendigo three starts ago.

He recorded a personal best time of 29.13 seconds over this course and distance last start when leading all the way from this box.

With his excellent box speed he should get on the arm and go all the way.

Sandown Park: Race 8 (9:20pm AEDT)
No. 4 Flying Zulu

Flying Zulu can bounce back from a luckless performance over this course and distance last start when slow away and then copping a bump in the first turn.

Prior to that, the superstar from the Jason Thompson kennel was low flying with eight wins from nine starts.

He boasts a good record over this course and distance with a personal best of 29.02 seconds which is superior to his rivals by a margin.

Box 4 can pose a problem but he has elite speed and can explode at box rise and find the front.

Sandown Park: Race 9 (9:38pm AEDT)
No. 3 Lakeview Emily

Lakeview Emily copped a squeeze early last start when finishing fourth in a qualifying race of the Million Dollar Chase series at Wentworth Park.

The daughter of Fernando Bale returns to her home state where she won back-to-back races recently including a slick effort over this course and distance three starts ago.

On that occasion she flew out of box 4 to lead all the way and win by 6.5 lengths in 29.16 seconds.

She should find the front from box 3 and if that’s the case, she’ll take some running down.
