Gosford: Race 2 (7:21pm)
No. 7 Lydia Wave

Lydia Wave finds it tough to win at times but does appear suited from the wide alley.

The daughter of Fernando Bale was runner-up over the track and distance last week and maps to sit just off the leaders once lids fly.

With two wins to her name from Box 7, she’s the one to beat.

Gosford: Race 5 (8:29pm)
No. 6 Miss Louella

Miss Louella is a five-time winner over the 515m trip, her best coming in a time of 29.84 seconds here at Gosford.

The daughter of Aussie Infrared has mixed her form recently, but she should have a fitness edge after racing over a touch further Wentworth Park of late.

Likely to push forward and suited from wider draws, she’ll be tough to run down in the closing stages.

Gosford: Race 7 (9:13pm)
No. 7 Canya Joyous

Canya Joyous steps out in search of her hat-trick having won her last two starts by a combined 4.5 lengths.

She bolted in to win comfortably over this distance at The Gardens two back and her latest effort over slightly shorter should have topped her off nicely.

In a race that packs early speed, she should land right on the bunny and pile on some pressure mid-race.

Gosford: Race 10 (10:18pm)
No. 5 Black Bronti

Black Bronti made it look easy when winning over slightly further last week by 7.8 lengths at The Gardens.

She’s drawn another suitable box and looks likely to tuck in just behind the speed and save her best for her final few strides.

Still only lightly-raced with tremendous upside, there’s nothing to suggest she can’t go on with the job.
