Race 1: 11:50am MIDWAY HANDICAP BM72 (1200M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 3 Lovero
Lovero was solid to the line when resuming under the 60kg impost at Warwick Farm and will certainly appreciate some weight relief here.
A capable mare of her day, the daughter of Astern was racing well against quality opposition last campaign but not a lot went her way.
Whilst her second up record doesn’t look overly flash, she has had genuine excuses and will have taken good benefit from that first up outing.
The way she found the line suggests the rise in trip will suit and she’s drawn to get the gun run under Jason Collet, who goes aboard for Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou.
Race 2: 12:25pm TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP CLASS 3 (1400M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 1 Intervarsity
Intervarsity drops back to Highway grade after solid effort to finish fourth in the Listed Mona Lisa Stakes.
Urged forward to take up the running after being caught deep in the early part, she was brave in defeat, with them just getting the better of her over the final 100m.
After winning her first two outings, she didn’t have the best of luck when resuming but proved far too good second up over 1300m here.
Only lightly raced, she looks highly talented and will continue to improve with race experience.
She does have the wide gate to overcome but class will take her along way.
Zac Wadick will take 3kgs off and if he can find cover early I think she’ll be too strong for them late.
Race 3: 1:00pm CHANDON HANDICAP BM88 (1800M)
No. 7 Unusual Legacy
Unusual Legacy was an eyecatcher first up and will have taken plenty of benefit from the run.
Settling back second last the Chris Waller trained gelding worked home strongly into third over the 1500m journey and relish the rise in trip here.
The former Kiwi just had the one start abroad before making his way away to Sydney and has quickly put together an impressive record.
In his first Australian start he was unlucky not the get the win and then went on to salute in three of his next four starts, proving himself a quality galloper.
He remains unbeaten in two second up appearances and whilst he does rise in grade, he gets in beautifully with just 55kgs on his back.
Race 4: HOT ROD & CUSTOM SHOW HANDICAP BM78 (2400)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 11 Campaldino
Campaldino has been solid in two Australian starts and looks ready to peak third up.
The former Kiwi didn’t have the best of luck when kicking off over the mile, hampered on a couple of occasions in the early part of the straight, he lost all momentum but picked up late to finish off strongly.
Last time, straight up to 2200m he was just overrun late after looking the winner 100m out.
He strips fitter, the blinkers go back on and he looks well suited out to the mile and a half journey.
Tim Clark will take the reins and he drops 3.5kgs on his latest run.
Race 5: NSW THOROUGHBRED BREEDERS HANDICAP BM78 (1500M)

Vivy Air hasn’t been far away in two runs back from a break and looks well placed to get the job done.
Resuming over 1200m here the Hellbent mare just looked in need of further as she kept grinding to the line.
She got that last time when stepping out to 1500m but just peaked on her run late.
With two runs under her belt she presents here in top order and she’s certainly capable.
A two-time stakes placegetter, she boasts solid form around her and with luck in running, she’ll be right in this.
Race 6: 2:50PM IRRESISTIBLE POOLS SHERACO STAKES F&M GROUP 2 (1200M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 3 Joliestar
Joliestar looks set for a big campaign after kicking off with a commanding victory in the Group 3 Show County.
Allowed to find her feet, the Thousand Guineas winner settled beautifully in a midfield position and when given a squeeze in the straight, she powered away to score easily.
A highly talented mare, she’s yet to miss a top two spot in seven career outings and remains unbeaten in three starts over 1200m.
With James McDonald in Melbourne, Kerrin McEvoy will take over the steering and he’ll be sure to keep her in clear air from gate six in the Sheraco Stakes field.
Race 7: 3:25PM PRECISE AIR MING DYNASTY QUALITY 3YO GROUP 3 (1400M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Clear Proof
There was a lot to like about the run of Clear Proof in the Listed Rosebud here last month.
The Justify colt settled back last in the 1100m contest and picked up strongly in the straight to run into second and he’ll no doubt improve as he steps out over further in the Ming Dynasty.
With only the two runs to date he’s still learning and showed plenty of raw talent when saluting on debut at huge odds back in July.
The rise to 1400m looks ideal and Chad Schofield stays in the saddle for John Thompson.
Race 8: 4:00PM JAMES SQUIRE RUN OT THE ROSE 3YO GROUP 2 (1200M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Storm Boy
Storm Boy could not have been more impressive when resuming in the San Domenico Stakes a fortnight ago.
The much-hyped son of Justify lived up to expectations as he posted a brilliant all-the-win win in slick time.
Successful in his first four raceday appearances, the highly talented youngster was sent out favourite in the Golden Slipper, but it all came undone early as he stepped away slow and looked a bit lost in between runners in the straight.
He’s certainly matured during his break and looks have come back bigger and better.
Adam Hyeronimus remains unbeaten aboard the colt and he stays in the saddle for this year’s Run To The Rose race.
Race 9: 4:40PM TOYOTA FORKLIFTS THEO MARKS STAKES GROUP 2 (1300M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 9 Bases Loaded
Bases Loaded returns to the races and has impressed in two recent trials.
The Deep Field entire has put together a very tidy record and headed to the paddock on a high after saluting in the Group Three Gunsynd back in June.
Aside from his maiden win, all of his runs have been contested at group level and he looks very progressive.
His latest trial saw him post a six length margin on the line and he’s ready to go at 1300m.
Tim Clark has partnered him in all eight of his raceday appearances and he’ll again do the steering for the Waterhouse / Bott team in the Theo Marks Stakes 2024.
Race 10: 5:15pm TAB HANDICAP BM88 (1100M)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 14 Blanc De Blanc
Blanc De Blanc kicked off her preparation with a very encouraging effort over 1100m here and she will have taken plenty of improvement from the run.
First up since March, the Michael Freedman trained mare just wanted to race a bit keen through the middle stages but finished off nicely over the final part.
A daughter of I Am Invincible, she showed plenty of natural talent throughout her two year old season, racing consistently and placing in both the Group 2 Sweet Embrace and Group 3 Magic Night Stakes before contesting the Golden Slipper.
Nothing went to plan in two runs last preparation but she looks to have returned in top order.
The inside gate will see her enjoy a cosy run in transit under Tommy Berry and she drops 5kgs on that first up run.
