UFC 305 will be live and sold out in Perth Western Australia this Sunday and I’m all for it.
Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis are among the incredible talent headlining the stacked main card and ANZ fans alike will be tuning into the incredible spectacle that is UFC 305.

DDP vs Adesanya will go down in the books as one of the greatest main events Australia has ever seen on their doorstep.
Du Plessis defeated Sean Strickland earlier this year and some fans might disagree with the decision.
That victory against Strickland took him to seven wins in the UFC and there’s no doubt that Du Plessis belongs in the promotion, defeating Derek Bruson and former champ Robert Whittaker in his rise to the top of the mountain
Adesanya competes for the first time in a bee’s knees under a year, after losing the title to Sean Strickland at UFC 293 in Sydney.
We can only expect that Adesanya will move to the Light Heavyweight division and take on Alex Pereira if he loses yet again in the Middleweight division.
However, if the former champ returns to his former glory, he will officially become a three-time Middleweight champion.
Back DDP to hug his way to a decision victory!
Kai Kara-France vs Steve Erceg promises to be an all-out war that will see the winner with a possible title shot.
Kara-France is still in title contention, however, he’s lost two straight and I think a dominant performance against Steve Erceg should get him a title shot.
Perth native Steve Erceg has made his way up the mountain in his first year with the UFC, grinding his way to three straight wins before facing Alexandre Pantoja in Brazil for the title.
A dominant effort for either fighter puts them in the title picture and I can’t wait to see what they can do.
As for my pick, I’m leaning towards Erceg via knockout, his speed and pure power can’t be matched in the Flyweight division and I mean c’mon, he’s the home town hero.
Top 15 standouts Dan Hooker and Mateusz Gamrot face off in the middle of the main card and this bout can be the Fight Of The Night.
He’s been in the UFC for over 10 years, now Hooker is back in the octagon for the first time since his outstanding battle with Jalin Turner at UFC 290, where he won via split decision and also a broken arm.
Back the Kiwi to get the job done.
