She’s drawn much kinder on this occasion and typically handles some sting out of the track. In well at the weights and back to country level, she should be winning.

Life’s A Party presents fitter second-up.

The Star Turn mare found the line nicely fresh at Bathurst in testing conditions last month, running on strongly down the outside for third after over-racing early on.

She’s got a gun record over 1100m and has won previously second-up.

Rates one of the main chances carrying 55kg if she can establish a nice spot around midfield.

Legolas is winless in three starts over 1100m, but his best is certainly good enough to threaten in a race like this.

The four-year-old by Capitalist has featured in the money in his last two runs at Tamworth, finishing a clear second a few weeks ago off a four-week break.

It’s been well over a year since he last won a race, but drawn the inside gate and open to natural improvement on less of a turnaround, he’ll be right in the mix.

Press Forward is deep into his prep but continues to race nicely.

The six-year-old son of Winning Rupert has found the money in his last two starts over similar distances, seen clinging on late for third in a small field here two runs back on a bottomless track.

He’s better suited on slightly firmer conditions and is drawn to receive every chance on the short back up following last week’s runner-up effort at Forbes.
