Wentworth Park: Race 1 (6:51pm)
Race Starts in: Race Finished
No. 2 Happy Bandit
Happy Bandit has been the runner up in all three starts and looks well placed to break through.
The youngster stepped out over the 440m at Goulburn at his first two outings before coming here, where he tried hard over this distance but just couldn’t reel in the leader.
This looks a winnable race for him and I think he’ll prove too good for them.
Wentworth Park: Race 8 (9:32pm)
Race Starts in: Race Finished
No. 1 Zipping Duvall
Zipping Duvall comes here in top order having won two of his past three starts.
Nothing went right for him two runs back but he bounced back last time with a terrific all-the-way win after flying out of the boxes.
He loves it here at Wentworth Park and from the inside draw he looks set to repeat that latest performance.
Albion Park: Race 6 (8:31pm)
Race Starts in: Race Finished
No. 6 Whistle Away
Whistle Away is in red hot form having won five of his past six starts.
He was beaten only a length here two runs back before heading to Capalaba where he proved too slick over the 366m trip.
The son of Fernando Bale has a great record here and was successful at his only start out of box 6.
Albion Park: Race 9 (9:38pm)
Race Starts in: Race Finished
No. 6 Amendola
Amendola was brave in defeat last start and I think he can bounce back.
He made it back to back wins before tackling the QLD Distance Championship Final, where he took up the running but just felt the pinch over the final stages.
Back to 520m looks ideal and If he can produce his best, he’ll be too good for them.
