The Meadows: Race 1 (6:29pm)
No. 2 Paw Gunner

Paw Gunner is shooting for three on the bounce and looks well placed to do so.

The runner up at his first two outings at Sandown, he then proved far too good here, powering away over the final part to score by just over ten lengths.

He was able to repeat that performance ten days later and is now unbeaten in two goes over this course and distance.

The Meadows: Race 3 (7:09pm)
No. 4 This Train

This Train is building a very tidy record.

From five starts, the son of Aston Rupee has recorded three wins and two third placings and he looks very progressive.

He made it successive victories over this track and trip before being given a break and returned with a solid effort over 450m at Ballarat last time.

Back out to 525m here, he looks a great winning chance.

The Gardens: Race 9 (10:01pm)
No. 6 Alacrity Holly

Alacrity Holly could not have been more impressive when making her debut here over this distance.

She was quick to leave the boxes, speared to the front and continued to extend her lead, posting a nine length margin on the line.

She looks highly talented and whilst she does rise in grade, her time suggests she’ll be too good for them.

The Gardens: Race 10 (10:18pm)
No. 2 Rhyno's Magic

Rhyno’s Magic has been racing well.

The daughter of Fernando Bale made it back to back wins here before another gallant effort where she tried hard but just couldn’t reel in the leader.

This looks to be her pet distance and she’s got great record out of box two.
