UFC 304 Preview

UFC 304 Preview

Co-Op Live Manchester will be packed to the rafters this Sunday as UFC 304 takes centre stage, with the likes of Leon Edwards, Belal Muhammad, Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes headlining the stacked main card.

The Main Card starts at 12pm AEST, which is 3am in Manchester and we wont see the Main Event until at least 5:00 or 6:00am local time depending on the rest of the card.

We’ll be having beers while the fans in UK will be consuming coffee to stay awake and you can find our tips and previews below.

Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad
Yes – Fight will go the distance

Belal Muhammad will finally get his opportunity at a title shot, however, he doesn’t have an easy task ahead of him.

The king of the welterweights Leon Edwards is back to defend his title on home soil and we’re expecting a marathon, based on history.

Leon had impeccable control against Colby Covington, in his last outing, standing in the middle of the octagon for the entirety of the bout, with significant strikes and Incredible defence to Covington’s takedown attempts.

Muhammad has been waiting patiently for his time to take on the champion and he wish has been granted by Dana White.

A combined 15 of their last 20 bouts have gone the distance and I’m taking the value for them to go the distance.

Tom Aspinall vs Curtis Blaydes
Tom Aspinall to win KO/TKO Round 1

Tom Aspinall vs Curtis Blaydes might’ve been short-lived last time out, but we’re ready to see the boys swing for the fences this weekend when go toe to toe in the co-main event of the evening.

Aspinall has not seen the second round has not seen the second round since February 2021 and also has not won via submission since March of 2022, so expect a quick knockout in the first round

King Green vs Paddy Pimblett
Pimblett to Win via Points

A good old-fashioned scrap that will have everyone talking, King Green and Paddy Pimblett are natural entertainers.

At the time of publish, Paddy has opened as the underdog which in my eyes, is the best value you’re going to get on the card.

Pimblett has a chin on him, and the only way for Green to win is if somehow he can in fact knock him out

He’s undefeated in the UFC, and I expect that to continue, take Paddy the Baddy via points.
