No. 7 Sophia’s Magic
Sophia’s Magic made it look easy two weeks ago when winning by a clear two-length margin over the track and distance.
The six-year-old mare by Charm Spirit had plenty against her caught four-wide in transit before knuckling down over the final furlong to pull clear.
She’s rock-hard fit with four runs under her belt since joining Carly Thomas’ stable, and with a much better gate at her disposal this time, she should be threatening again in the run home.

No. 7 Life Sentence
Life Sentence has drawn a handy gate in a race that holds plenty of chances.
Matt Cumani’s three-year-old by Star Witness has featured in the money in his last two starts, breaking maiden two back here over a touch shorter where he was strong all the way through the line.
He had a wide barrier to contend with three weeks ago on his way to running third, only nailed late before the post.
Drawn to settle forward again and find the box-seat, he should be tough to hold out with improvement still to come.

No. 7 Dreamt Enough
Dreamt Enough might be wanting further than 1000m at this point in her prep, but it’s hard to ignore the effort she produced on return three weeks ago when runner-up over the track and trip.
The mare by Rich Enuff sped clear out of the gates to establish a spot among the leaders, plugging away nicely in the finish where she was within a length of Coeur De Lyon through the line.
She tends to improve deeper into her prep but this does set up similarly from an identical gate with Jessica Booth retaining the ride.

No. 6 Golden Estrella
Golden Estrella was the beaten favourite last start at Wangaratta when beaten over 9.5 lengths over further.
The daughter of Zoustar raced below her best after finding the money in her previous two starts since returning to work, but there were excuses offered considering she had the wide gate to contend with.
Getting back to 1200m is an obvious plus and she should be afforded a kinder sit under John Allen from barrier three.
In a race that is slightly tricky to assess, she looks the safest play.
