No. 11 Jenni Multabella

J: Blake Shinn (56kg) T: Lloyd Kennewell & Lucy Yeomans

Jenni Multabella is on debut and looks well educated by the Kennewell and Yeomans stable.

The daughter of Ace High has looked a stylish mover in both her jump outs this time in work with the most recent seeing her cruise to an easy win at Cranbourne.

Blake Shinn has gone to Sale to ride this filly which is a good indicator of her ability and he should be able to give her every chance from a nice gate.

Each Way

No. 1 Shrewsbury Avenue

J: Luke Cartwright (62.5kg) T: Simon Zahra

Shrewsbury Avenue is an import that started his Australian career on the right note with a maiden win over 1411m at Seymour last start.

The Simon Zahra-trained gelding was having his first start in 33 weeks so will strip fitter second-up and given he took some time to wind up, the rise in distance looks ideal.

Luke Cartwright, who claims 2kg, can settle off what looks a strong speed before running home strong.

Win Market Mover

No. 5 Mansiere

J: Ethan Brown (60kg) T: Nick Ryan

Mansiere resumes here on the back of two solid jump outs that will have him ready to fire fresh.

The Nick Ryan-trained son of Brave Smash races well first-up and resumed with a neck second over this course and distance despite being held up when kicking off last preparation.

He’ll appreciate returning to this class race after racing competitively in stronger city races when last in work.

Ethan Brown pilots from the inside barrier.

Win

No. 10 Maisy

J: Patrick Moloney (57.5kg) T: M, W & J Hawkes

Maisy returns for her second preparation with the benefit of a solid Flemington jump out.

The Team Hawkes-trained filly looked good in her one and only race start in January at Seymour where she worked to the line strongly to win by a nose over 1400m.

There were five lengths back to the third, and the second horse subsequently competed well in a Group 3 race.

She’s been given time to furnish and doesn’t mind the sting out of the ground.
