No. 1 Better Show

J: Lacey Morrison (59kg) T: Roy Chillemi

Better Show looks hard to beat in the opening race at Townsville.

The Roy Chillemi-trained filly is on a quick back-up after making a mess of her rivals over 1000m here on Tuesday.

That run will have tuned her nicely for the rise to 1300m.

She defeated Dance For Me Randy two starts back and no other horse in this race has come close to doing that.

Townsville: Race 3 (12:48pm AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 4 Mooloolaba

J: Lacey Morrison (54kg) T: Georgina Holt

Mooloolaba has loved life since moving to Georgie Holt’s North Queensland stable.

The gelding won his first four races over this course and distance with ease.

Unfortunately, he tasted defeat for the first time last start but was far from disgraced when putting up a good fight to finish a nose second after being pressured in front.

While he’s up in class, he hasn’t carried this light a weight for some time.

Townsville: Race 4 (1:28pm AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 6 Roweiner’s Dance

J: Isabella Teh (57kg) T: Bill Kenning

Roweiner’s Dance takes on older horses here but he’s the definition of a winner and can handle it.

The three-year-old son of Sidestep boasts a highly impressive record of nine wins from 11 starts over this course and distance.

He looks ready for a peak performance third-up after dominating his rivals in his first two starts back this preparation.

Isabella Teh, who claims 2kg, can give him a beautiful run from the inside gate.

Townsville: Race 7 (3:28pm AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 1 Sweet Kisses

J: Ashley Butler (60kg) T: Georgina Holt

Sweet Kisses enters the Magic Millions Townsville Dollars looking to win her third race in a row.

The Georgie Holt-trained Better Than Ready filly was last seen eating up the mud at Cairns on her way to a four-length win over this distance.

She had her only start over this course and distance two starts back which resulted in a dominant 4.5 length win.

Battle Of The Bush winning jockey Ash Butler is aboard and will give her every chance from barrier 3.
