The Meadows: Race 3 (7:15pm)
No. 8 Zipping Hopkins

Zipping Hopkins has tremendous late speed and some likeable form to his name from wider alleys.

The two-year-old son of My Redeemer was much-improved last week when running on late for second over this distance.

Looks likely to get right back in the run and has enough ability to swoop in late.

The Meadows: Race 5 (7:52pm)
No. 8 Big Suzie

Big Suzie is a talented track and distance winner with two wins and as many placings to her name.

She’s another one that is ideally suited racing from out wide and has enough late speed to really make her presence felt in the go for home.

The Meadows: Race 7 (8:39pm)
No. 3 Transponder

Transponder was back in the winner’s circle last week with an impressive 2.7 length win over a touch further at Ballarat.

The experienced three-year-old tends to win in bunches and has drawn to get a similar run in transit here from Box 3 off the speed.

With his personal track and distance time of 29.55 seconds being the quickest in the field, it’s no surprise to find him at a short price.

The Meadows: Race 8 (9:02pm)
No. 1 Follow The Band

Follow The Band is going great guns at the moment and it’s hard to see him coming undone from the inside box in the Maturity Classic.

His last two wins during this purple patch of form have come by well over four lengths, and he’ll likely adopt similar front-running tactics after leading for most of the way in last week’s heat.
