Bendigo: Race 5 (4:57pm)
No. 4 El Cazador

El Cazador has placed in four of his five attempts over the 425m trip here at Bendigo.

It’s been a while since the son of Aussie Infrared last won a race, but he was placed twice before stepping up in grade at Ballarat last week when beaten 1.5 lengths.

The slight step back in distance is a major plus and his late speed should be on full display out of the turn.

Bendigo: Race 7 (5:37pm)
No. 1 Lyrical Lassy

Lyrical Lassy goes well from the inside box with three wins to her name.

Her win over 500m four runs back in a similar event was full of merit and she certainly lost no admirers when just missing out on a place in Listed company at Shepparton last month.

She’s been kept fresh with three weeks between starts and is likely to make her presence felt in the late stages.

Bendigo: Race 9 (6:11pm)
No. 2 Matching Motors

Matching Motors is an experienced track and distance specialist with three wins on the board.

His best came in a nice time of 23.72 seconds, which rates as the quickest in this lineup.

The inside box is a big positive and he’s another one that can muster a late challenge coming off the speed.

Bendigo: Race 11 (6:50pm)
No. 2 Urana Zoom

Urana Zoom has placed twice from Box 2 and is likely to land on the bunny early.

She was an impressive winner two back over before finding last week’s rise in trip a little too far at Sandown.

With improvement still to come in just her fourth run back from a spell, this looks a nice race for her to go forward and try her luck on speed.
